Southside Student Ministry exists to lead students (7th -12th grade) to live for Jesus Christ. Our goal is to train and equip students to have a personal and meaningful relationship with God that will last. Through our ministry, students will be introduced to the power of God’s Word and challenged to live for God daily. We would love for you to come and visit us here at Southside.
Sunday Morning (9:30am)
We are currently working through The Gospel Project for Students.
Our classes are led by:
- Girls (7th-12th grade) – (room 404) Michelle Thompson/ Kay Fancher
- Boys (7th-12th grade) – (room 403) Joe Thompson
Sunday Night (6pm)
Every Sunday evening our students gather for Bible Study led by our student minister Brian Barton. This laid back atmosphere allows the students to engage in a discussion based study to work through their faith and to grow in their knowledge of Scripture. We are currently looking at the book of Proverbs.
Wednesday Night (6:30pm)
This is a high energy, fun night of worship. Each Wednesday Brian Barton leads the study and most nights we have games and food. This study is a great night to invite first time guests and friends to join you at church in a relaxed setting.
Throughout the year we have many ways your student can get involved:
- Summer Camp
- D-Now weekend
- Local mission projects
- Six Flags trip
- Rangers game
- Along with many other day activities
